Why banana is called 'Banana'

很久以前,外国有一个国王很爱吃香蕉,但是他又不懂香蕉叫什么名称,于是他就派一个大臣去香蕉的发源地---中国去调查
Long time ago, a king loves to eat Banana but he doesn't know Banana is call what name, so he ordered his servant go to the banana origin place, China. The servant promise will investigate the name of the banana.

大臣去中国调查了很久都没有结果.有一天他无意的走到两个村庄的村口,看见两个村庄的村长带领著他们的村民和对方在吵架
The servant went to China and investigate but still no result in long time. One day, he passed a village and saw the villagers are arguing.

原来他们的村口放著一块大石头,没有人承认是谁放的
It all about a rock, still dunno who placed a rock in front of the Village entrance.

忽然这块大石头走了几步,原来此大石头是一个大乌龟.大乌龟笑著对两个村长说:
After few minute, the rock walked a few steps, actually that's a tortoise.
The tortoise laugh and said to the villagers :

"你们真笨,连乌龟和石头都不会分,哈哈!!!"
You're so stupid, even the differently of a rock and a tortoise also dunno how to separate.
Ha! ha!

两个村长一听到乌龟这样笑他们就很生气.其中一个村长立刻双手捉住乌龟的龟头,另一个村长随手采下一束香蕉,就往龟头上拼命打,他一边打一边骂:
The two villagers was so angry and one of the villagers accidentally took a bunch of banana and hit the tortoise. He also scole out:

"说我们笨,笨啊拿!笨啊拿!笨啊拿!"(广东话) said in cantonese :
"gong wo dei ben, ben na na! ben na na! ben na na"! (Vocal)
"You said us stupid? (Meaning)

大臣看到村长拿著一束香蕉拼命叫:"笨啊拿!笨啊拿!笨啊拿!"于是他就明白了---原来香蕉就叫著BANANA
His servant saw the villager taking a bunch of bananas and hitting the tortoise while saying 'Banana! Banana! Banana!" (Cantonese Vocal). Finally he understand banana is called banana.
